Terms & Conditions

1. Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to all services and products provided by Leysen Photography. By booking a photoshoot, purchasing images, or using the services of Leysen Photography, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.

Any deviation from these terms must be agreed upon in writing prior to the project.

2. Services

Leysen Photography offers professional photography services including but not limited to:

  • Branding photography

  • Product photography

  • Visual content creation for businesses

  • Licensing of images through the Branding Visual Library

Each project is discussed and agreed upon in advance regarding scope, location, concept, and deliverables.

3. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed once both parties agree on the project details and the photoshoot date.

Invoices must be paid within the agreed payment period as stated on the invoice.

For larger projects, Leysen Photography may request a deposit prior to the shoot to secure the booking date.

Late payments may result in delays in delivery of the final images.

4. Pricing

Pricing depends on the scope of the project.

Branding Photography

Branding sessions start at €450 for a one-hour session and include a minimum of 20 professionally edited images.

Additional images can be purchased separately.

Product Photography

Product photography projects are quoted individually depending on:

  • number of products

  • complexity of the images

  • styling and concept requirements

  • location of the shoot

Visual Library

Images purchased through the Branding Visual Library are licensed as digital downloads. Each purchase grants a license for business use as described in the licensing section below.

5. Image Delivery

After the photoshoot, the photographer will carefully select and edit the best images.

Final images are delivered digitally in high resolution.

Delivery time depends on the scope of the project but typically ranges between a few days and two weeks.

6. Copyright and Licensing

All photographs remain the intellectual property and copyright of Leysen Photography.

Clients receive a license to use the images for their business and marketing purposes. This may include:

  • websites

  • social media

  • marketing materials

  • advertising related to their own business

Images may not be resold, sublicensed, or distributed to third parties without written permission.

Copyright protection automatically belongs to the photographer as the creator of the work unless transferred by agreement.

7. Portfolio and Promotion

Leysen Photography reserves the right to use images created during a project for:

  • portfolio

  • website

  • social media

  • marketing purposes

unless explicitly agreed otherwise with the client.

8. Travel Costs

For photoshoots outside the photographer's base location, travel costs may apply.

Travel costs are calculated at €0.50 per kilometer unless otherwise agreed.

For international projects, additional travel costs such as transportation, accommodation, and travel time may be charged.

9. Product Shipping

For product photography projects where products are shipped to the photographer:

  • the client is responsible for shipping the products

  • if the client wants the products returned, a return shipping label with tracking must be provided

  • Leysen Photography is not responsible for damages during shipping.

10. Liability

Leysen Photography will perform all services with professional care and attention.

However, the photographer cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond their control such as:

  • equipment failure

  • weather conditions

  • delays caused by third parties

In any case, liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

11. Visual Library License

Images purchased through the Branding Visual Library are licensed for use by the purchasing business.

The license allows use for:

  • websites

  • social media

  • marketing materials

  • digital advertising

The images may not be resold, redistributed, or used as stock imagery.

Each license applies to the purchasing business only.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law.

Any disputes arising from services provided by Leysen Photography will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Belgium.
